We have moved to Florida

Today Bob and I closed on our Ohio home. We purchased our Florida home over Labor Day and took most of our items to Florida last week. We have our truck loaded with our last few things to move. Today through Wednesday we plan to visit family and friends in Ohio. On Thursday we will drive to Evans Georgia where our son lives. On Friday we will go to our son's army retirement ceremony and dinner party. All of Bob's children will be there for the day. On Saturday we will head for our new home in Florida. Monday we have the cable, and phone being installed. Our 24 foot enclosed car hauler will also be delivered Monday with all of Bob's tools, misc. items along with his 64 1/2 Mustang that needs to be restored someday. He will store the trailer in the storage lot in the retirement community we have moved to. Tuesday our new washer/dryer and dishwasher are being delivered. Wednesday and the remaining week will be unpacking, cleaning and taking in our new surroundings. Our retirement life will begin.

Our retirement home continue.

Bob and I spent the last 5 days looking for our retirement home. We selected our home within 1 mile from the gulf in Hudson, Florida. It is a retirement community with many activities. Our home will be directly across from the Club House and Pool. They have dancing, pot luck, bowling, take trips that are close and far away. Fishing lake too. Any store you can think of is within 10 minutes away. Hudson Beach is more for boating, dining, reading a book, and watching the sunset. Best beach for swimming would be in Clearwater 28 miles away. Our home is 2 bedrooms, 2 bath with an open floor plan with approx 1152 sq ft and an added Florida room.
We have started packing and can't wait for the new adventure to start.
